oak

This is one of my favourite trees in the Kibbutz. 

It is an English or common oak (quercus robur) and not very common in Israel because unlike the native oaks this kind needs some water during the dry summer months.

I probably like it because it reminds me of the oaks in Switzerland where I grew up.
