Ranunculus and anemones

buttercup tuber
This time of the year I plant ranunculus (buttercups) and anemones (amongst other flowers). There are already a lot all over the kibbutz and every year in winter they bloom in all their glory.
I plant them here and there in small groups. In small corners, near a stone, in front of a shrub etc.

We buy the tubers in bulk and once in a while I toss some in a bucket full of water and let them soak over night.

It's best to put them some 5 cm deep in the ground with a space of around 5 cm from each other.
The tubers of the buttercups are placed with they "legs" down and the anemones with their pointy side down.
